CSI International partners


The CSI is the founding member of The Standing International Conference of Inspectorates and it is involved in European Schools' activities.
 
At the international bilateral level, the CSI concluded agreements on cooperation with:
 
  • - State School Inspection in the Slovak Republic (came into force on June 4, 2013)
  • - French Embassy in Prague, the Czech Republic (came into force on May 30, 2012)
  • - Roma Education Fund (came into force on April 5, 2012)
  • - Kuratorium oświaty in Katowice (came into force on May 14, 2009)
  • - British Council, the Czech Republic (came into force on December 19, 2011)
 
Some regional CSI inspectorates cooperate with the partner countries in border regions (i.e. CSI Inspectorate in Olomouc cooperates with the Austrian school inspectorate from the Federal Province of Burgenland, CSI Inspectorate in Karlovy Vary cooperates with the State School Bureau in Wunsiedel).
 
The integral part of CSI activities is a membership in the international organizations and participation in their programmes. The CSI represents the Czech Republic in the bodies of Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA), in expert groups of the Council of Europe and European Union, namely in:
 
  • - Governing Board CERI-OECD,
  • - INES OECD Working Group,
  • - PISA Governing Body,
  • - TALIS Board of Participating Countries,
  • - Executive Committee SICI,
  • - IEA General Assembly.
 
The CSI cooperation with IEA operates at the level of individual international surveys, namely in: ICILS 2013, TALIS 2013, representatives of CSI take part in the preparation of TIMSS 2015 and PIRLS 2016. The CSI is engaged also in the new ECES project, focusing on the pre-primary education area.
